Now offering an enlarged Liquid Retina display, the Apple MQKW3 MacBook Air 15″ provides users with additional screen real estate with deep colorization, vivid brightness, and immersive tone suitable for both work and play. The Apple M2 chip combines the CPU, GPU, Neural Engine, I/O, and more into a single system on a chip (SoC), utilizing 2nd-Gen 5nm process technology for enhanced performance.

The new MQKW3 MacBook Air also has a larger screen. It now features the 15″ Liquid Retina Display, which has a 2880 x 1864 screen resolution for 219 pixels per inch (ppi). The display has been expanded near the sides and top to make room for the menu bar. This means the MacBook Air now has a larger display with thinner bezels, giving you more screen real estate.

The display also features 500 nits of brightness, P3 wide color gamut, and can support one billion colors for vibrant photos and movies. With True Tone technology, the white balance automatically adjusts to match the color temperature of the light around you for a more natural viewing experience. The MQKW3 MacBook Air is also thinner and lighter, weighing just 3.3 pounds and measuring just 0.45″ thin.

Connect to the internet via Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and use compatible wireless peripherals and accessories with Bluetooth 5.3. The two Thunderbolt 3 ports provide USB4 support and can even connect to an external 6K display at 60 Hz. Apple also included a three-mic array for clear recordings and calls.

The M2 has faster performance cores with a larger cache and the efficiency cores have been enhanced for more performance gains. The Apple M2 performs up to 1.4 times faster than the previous generation M1 while still delivering battery life of up to 18 hours of video playback.

The M2 was also designed to speed up video workflows by adding a next-gen media engine and a powerful ProRes video engine for hardware-accelerated encode and decode. This means the M2 can play back more streams of 4K and 8K video.
